Egg

A figure folded into itself inside a red oval — knees up, arms wrapped, the body becoming the shapes it's made of. Everything waiting to begin is egg-shaped, including us. Eight years later the same curled figure surfaced again in Combinations and Re-Entry; apparently some positions are permanent vocabulary.
