Approximate Completion

Rings of purple, magenta, and red circling a pale center, like a storm seen from above or a tree's rings still being laid down. The title is the whole philosophy of my abstract work: each pass approximates closer that perfection in form which I will never attain but will always strive towards. You stop when the painting is approximately complete, which is the only kind of complete there is.
