Rocket Propelled Clovis Point

Oil on Cotton Canvas · 24 x 30 Inches · 2020

A figure in a white suit stands at ease, helmet ringed with ears of corn, a single bee parked on the crown, holding a rocket-propelled clovis point. Twelve thousand years of weapons technology collapsed into one absurd tool — the first point we ever knapped, strapped to the newest engine we could build. Pandemic painting, summer 2020. The intaglio version followed in 2022.

Oil on cotton canvas, 24 by 30 inches.

Oil on linen painting of a white armored figure with a honeycomb-filled visor and bees, holding a serrated spear-like weapon against a soft pink, yellow, and green background.
