Path Through the Autumn Leaves

Oil on Linen · 17 1/2 x 17 1/2 inches · 2021 · sold

Concentric squares in the colors of fall — orange, rust, a thread of turquoise sky — narrowing toward a small bright center. The sibling of Autumnal Twilight's circles: the same walk through the same season, this time with corners. A path is just a square spiral you follow inward until the leaves close over the way you came.

Oil on Linen. 17 1/2 by 17 1/2 inches. 2021.

Oil painting of concentric squares in warm tones of orange, red, yellow, and turquoise blue, radiating inward to a small central square, creating a hypnotic tunnel-like composition in a light wooden frame.
