Geometric Anatomy

Two halves of my practice in a single frame: bodies painted as faithfully as I am able, intertwined against a field that has given up detail entirely — pale yellow broken by a red web of triangles. Memory refines forms to their basic emotions; the figures hold on while the world around them simplifies. First in the Geometric Anatomy series.
